About Illuminate

Guiding Your Journey to Healing

At Illuminate, we’re pioneering the path to health for those struggling with mental illness, trauma, and chronic pain.  We are a team of licensed and board-certified medical providers transforming lives through evidence-based and compassionate intervention.  Our approach integrates cutting-edge research with holistic, trauma-informed care in a comfortable setting with close medical supervision.  We believe authentic wellness comes from healing mind, body, and spirit, and we utilize a collaborative and patient-centered approach to meet the unique needs of everyone.

Following the recommendations set forth by the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, our ketamine infusions are administered and supervised by a Nurse Anesthetist in collaboration with our medical director, a board-certified MD Psychiatrist. Preparation, KAP, and integration sessions with our occupational therapist facilitate and extend the therapeutic effects of ketamine infusions to promote meaningful and lasting changes in activities of daily living.

Our dedicated team provides a safe, medically supervised environment, ensuring a nurturing and spiritually supportive journey. We believe in the power of ketamine therapy to not only alleviate symptoms but to offer a deeper, more lasting path to physical, mental, and emotional wellness. With every step, we’re dedicated to guiding our clients through their healing journey, illuminating the possibilities of a brighter, healthier future.

Caleb Lesch, CRNA

Caleb is the co-founder and owner of illuminate. He is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with over 10 years of experience.  He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia at VCU in 2014 with a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia. His experience spans from the operating rooms of open-heart surgeries to being the sole anesthesia provider at office-based gastroenterology clinics.

While Caleb is fascinated by the pharmacodynamics and physiology of anesthesia, his true passion lies in establishing a safe and nurturing environment for patients undergoing anesthesia while facilitating feelings of safety throughout their procedure. Patient safety is his top priority, and he handles each case with vigilance and an individualized protocol.

Caleb is a person in long-term recovery and discovered his higher purpose in the field of mental health and chronic pain treatment through his own journey of transformation and triumph. He understands firsthand the devastating effects of mental illness, addiction, and chronic pain, and is on a mission to make lasting changes for those who still suffer.  He is committed to exemplifying the high ethical standards of the CRNA profession and is a graduate of the Ketamine Academy, IV Therapy Academy, and advocates for mental health through community service and public speaking.  Caleb stands in the possibility of empowering patients through courage, compassion, integrity, and transparency.

Kellyn Lesch, OTR/L, CCTS-I

Kellyn is the co-founder and owner of illuminate. She is a licensed, registered Occupational Therapist and a Clinical Trauma Specialist with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of mental health and chronic pain conditions.  She has specialized training in psychedelic medicine and is certified in Psychedelic Therapy and Integration (PTI) through Fluence.  She practices with an emphasis on somatic experiencing and trauma integration while incorporating core concepts of occupational therapy practice including sensory processing, nervous system modulation and regulation, and the use of meaningful occupations to maximize integration into daily life.

Kellyn obtained her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and has over 10 years of experience providing skilled intervention to patients across the lifespan living with physical, neurological, sensory, and cognitive disorders in community, inpatient psychiatric, outpatient, residential, and long-term care settings.  She believes in empowerment healthcare and is a direct-access provider.

Kellyn is also the owner and sole therapist of Peninsula Pelvic Health, where she provides pelvic floor therapy to those struggling with pelvic health conditions.  After opening in 2020, she quickly realized that pelvic floor dysfunction, PTSD, toxic stress, and unresolved trauma go hand-in-hand.  By utilizing a client-centered and holistic approach through the biopsychosocial model of medicine, she is able to provide intervention targeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual components of any dysfunction, specific to a client’s social context including their unique habits, roles, and routines.  As an occupational therapist, she is uniquely positioned to apply these same principles to Ketamine-Assisted Therapy and facilitate holistic and integrative healing.  She provides a safe space for KAT with the intention that her clients move forward powerfully, fearlessly, and can wholeheartedly embrace the roles and activities that make them so unique.
